WABI-SABI is a Japanese way of life that embraces simplicity, nature, and the quiet beauty found in imperfection. It invites us to slow down, appreciate the handmade, and find meaning in the authentic. Pieces are valued for their character, their story, and the way they gently evolve over time.

HOUSE OF WABI-SABI was founded by Ria, a self-taught designer-maker with over 15 years’ experience rooted in craft, curiosity, and connection. Inspired by years of travel, local artisans, and the quiet skills passed between people and places, every collection celebrates thoughtful design and authentic materials.

Each garment begins with carefully sourced fabrics from small, ethical mills. Designs are created by hand and brought to life in small runs or one-off pieces in Ria’s Leicester studio. Every fabric is chosen for its integrity, character, and sustainability, forming the foundation of garments that are crafted slowly and thoughtfully, designed to be treasured for years to come.

At HOUSE OF WABI-SABI, we believe in creating pieces that reflect timeless beauty, ethical values, and the stories woven into every thread.

Whether developing new concepts or crafting bespoke items, HOUSE OF WABI-SABI is dedicated to creating pieces that are meaningful, beautifully made, and timeless. The brand celebrates craft, authenticity, and the joy of bringing unique ideas to life, ensuring each piece reflects care, creativity, and values-driven design.

All pieces at HOUSE OF WABI-SABI are made to order, ensuring careful attention to detail and craftsmanship in every garment. If you have any questions about sizing or fit, please don’t hesitate to get in touch via our social media page or email— Ria will personally respond to help you find the perfect piece.
